I have built the disconnect log cars before. Hardware parts are C.H.B. This time I decided to make a homemade flat car using these cars. Project is simple and easy. I made the floor from 8 pieces of 6x10 basswood and attached this on the bunk.
I have to add bolt-nut detail and some loads of course.

You became the first commentator on this Blog! Yes, On30 is booming, but I will keep On3 because I can enjpy both BIG Colorado stuff and SMALL logging/mining stuff on the same truck in scale.
Are the CHB journals and pedestals still available? In the Jan/Feb 2004 issue of NG&SL Gazette Boone Morrison says no...
